Thermo Fisher Scientific has introduced the FH100 variable-speed peristaltic pump for laboratory life-science applications.
An integrated three-roller pump head allows for fast tubing changes, simple setup and operation.
The pumps feature digital control with a keypad user interface and three-digit LED pump speed display in 1rpm increments.
FH100 peristaltic pump systems provide a single-channel variable flow from 0.1ml/min to 3,000ml/min at a variable-speed range of 4-400rpm.
The unit's motor provides better than one per cent speed control accuracy and repeatability as well as remote control operation for applications including fume hoods and small-scale cell culture, fermentation and filtration processes.
The pump is also reversible, allowing for purging of transfer lines or emptying containers.
An integral tachometer corrects for line, load and heat drift, ensuring accuracy and repeatability.
The small footprint (12.5in x 12.5in x 6.5in) and stackable feature makes the FH100 pump suitable for limited-space applications.
The pumps are ETL, IEC:1010, cETL, and CE-approved and provide an alternative to lab piston metering pumps, gear pumps and small circulating pumps used in life-science laboratory applications.
The units are self-priming, able to operate dry, and contain no valves or seals that need to be replaced.
Only fluid contacts the tubing, providing for contamination-free pumping and high-purity applications.
A variety of tubing materials and sizes provide a broad range of chemical compatibility and flow ranges.
