Showa Best Glove's line of cut-resistant gloves emphasises performance and the comfort that keeps the gloves on workers.
Showa Best Glove currently has more than 24 cut-resistant hand- and arm-protection models, including brands such as Best's Zorb-It, T-Flex, D-Flex and Nitty Gritty gloves and Showa's Atlas and high-performance lines.
Showa Best Glove's current offering includes a number of Dupont Kevlar glove models with a variety of coatings for special purposes, gloves with stainless-steel fibres and gloves woven from high performance polyethelene (HPPE).
The Showa 540, 541 and 545 are HPPE gloves ideal for critical environments where cut/laceration hazards are present, such as in electronics, circuit board, semiconductor and small-parts assembly.
The white 540 glove and the black 541 glove each have a polyurethane-coated palm, while the seamless grey 545 model has a blue nitrile-coated palm.
Specific glove models from the company's D-Flex (with stainless-steel fibres) and T-Flex glove lines provide comfort plus cut resistance for applications such as food processing, cutting, glass handling, sheet-metal handling, meat and poultry, commercial fishing and restaurants.
Models include the ultra-lightweight 15-gauge T-Flex 8115 and the form-fitting, comfortable thermal-lined T-Flex 8113.
Companion T-Flex and D-Flex sleeves extend protection to the arms.
The 10-gauge Kevlar-lined Showa Atlas KV300, with natural latex coating, and Atlas KV350, with nitrile coating, are the gloves of choice for the glass-handling industry.
They are also suitable for mechanical and automotive applications, construction, machine or compartment assembly, recycling and bottling.
The Zorb-It Ultimate 4560 and Ultra 4565 are suitable for oily and slippery environments.
Both gloves feature a Kevlar liner with an ANSI Cut Level 3 rating plus sponge nitrile coating.
The 4560 is palm dipped while the 4565 is three-quarter dipped for added protection in extrication.
Both glove models provide protection and grip in oily conditions for mechanical and automotive, construction, machine or compartment assembly, recycling, bottling and glass-handling applications.
