Agilent Automation Solutions has announced the launch of a low-profile, 384-well format conductive rack.
The rack enables nested disposable tips to be used on the Bravo Liquid Handling Platform and Vertical Pipetting Station (formerly VPrep).
The Ansi standard format rack offers 300 per cent space savings over a traditional tipbox, requiring less tipbox changes and producing less waste.
Additionally, it offers the flexibility of top- or bottom-loading stack compatibility.
A long skirt and lead-in features allow easy loading of additional nested tip racks, improving throughput and walk-away time.
The racks are manufactured to exacting specifications under stringent quality assurance guidelines and so provide the sturdiness required by automation equipment.
The 30ul tips are designed to provide good liquid handling performance.
In addition, all tips are certified to be DNAse and RNAse free.
Sterile and non-sterile versions are available.
