Fluidigm has appointed Uniscience do Brasil and its partners as exclusive distributors for the Biomark system for genetic analysis in Brazil.
Fluidigm said its integrated fluidic circuits, instrumentation and software bring advantages to researchers and scientists performing real-time and digital PCR, genotyping, single-cell gene expression, copy number variation and absolute quantification for next-generation sequencing activities.
Fluidigm's systems utilise integrated fluidic circuits that contain a microscopic matrix of microfluidic channels, valves and chambers on a rubber chip that can perform thousands of experiments at a time, in a fully flexible format that maximises sensitivity, reduces costs and provides great reproducibility of results.
