RTS Life Science will host its third sample-management workshop on 21 September 2009 at the IQPC 5th Annual Compound Management and Integrity Conference (CMI) in Philadelphia.
The workshop - titled: 'Do You Know What You are Screening? Techniques and Solutions to Reduce the Impact of Variable Sample Quality' - will be led by Chris Walsh, RTS Life Science product manager for sample management.
Walsh will give participants the opportunity to: benchmark themselves against others in the industry, understand how QC can be built into their day-to-day workflows, assess the true cost of poor sample quality and learn about accurate tube auditing using a vision-system approach.
The interactive workshop will also provide attendees with the chance to actively discuss the factors affecting sample quality as they apply to automated storage and offer an insight into the new techniques for improving the reliability of samples.
The workshop will also address considerations for integrating solutions in an automated system.
The anonymous results of an attendee survey will be discussed, giving participants the opportunity to share their experiences.
The RTS sample-management workshop has been designed to educate and inform sample-management professionals on the issues and challenges they encounter.
It offers attendees solutions to improve their understanding of stored samples and reduce the impact of variable sample-quality.
