30 April 2010 - ERT has agreed to acquire the research-services division of Carefusion (CRS) for USD81m (GBP53m) in cash.
CRS manufactures diagnostic devices, and provides respiratory diagnostics, cardiac safety and EPRO services.
11 January 2010 - ERT, which provides centralised services to the biopharmaceutical, medical device and related industries, has appointed John Sory as senior vice-president of health-care solutions. Sory’s role will include exploring merger and acquisition opportunities in clinical research.
29 October 2009 - ERT has won Best New Product at the 2009 European Outsourcing Awards (EOA) ceremony for its Electronic Patient Reported Outcomes (Epro)-based suicidality monitoring solution.
The EOA ceremony, held in Madrid on 14 October, recognises new developments in contract services and rewards companies for their contributions throughout the year.
