Metrohm has introduced the flexible 867 pH module for pH and ion measurement.
The 867 pH module can be used both with conventional potentiometric sensors and with intelligent electrodes (Itrodes) from Metrohm.
The instrument is equipped with both conventional and intelligent measurement inputs and enables pH, potential, ion and temperature measurements.
Should doubts arise as to a pH electrode's condition, the integrated electrode test clarifies the situation and delivers troubleshooting information.
Ion measurement with ion-selective electrodes (ISEs) can either be performed by direct measurement or by standard addition using an optional Dosino or 805 Dosimat.
The 867 pH module can be used to extend a Titrando with an additional measurement input for pH or ion measurement.
It can also be utilised as an integrated pH or ionometer in conjunction with the PC Control or Tiamo (from version 2.0) software packages.
The module can be used as a standalone pH meter or ion meter together with the 840 Touch Control operating unit or as a fully automated pH meter or ion meter combined with the 814 USB sample processor or 815 Robotic USB sample processor XL.
Regardless of the application, measurements always meet FDA standard 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
The module features plug-and-play functionality for peripheral devices.
It has two USB and four MSB ports.
