Applied Scintillation Technologies (AST) has announced the latest additions to its Visualize range of products used for profile measurements and component alignment of laser and laser diode modules.
The Visualize range, which utilises specialised phosphor coatings to provide a safe image of the beam for infrared (IR), visible to near infrared and ultraviolet lasers, will feature wavelength specific cards in both UV and IR wavelength ranges and clear card versions with the target area imprinted on them.
Key products in the infrared will include a dedicated card for operation at 1,064nm for use with Nd:YAG lasers, and a card to fill in gaps between 1,600nm and 2,000nm.
There will also be disk-only versions for IR, both with and without a central hole.
In the UV range, there will be new cards for specific wavelengths in the range 100nm to 400nm.
'The Visualize range provides excellent performance and safety for laser users, engineers and scientists,' said Stuart Quinn, AST sales and commercial director.
'The credit-card format is ideally suited for low power lamps and lasers, while the 25mm disk and clip-on wand versions are designed for applications where frequent component positioning is required,' he added.
