The Defender 3000 series bench scales have been designed for use in production, packaging, and shipping-and-receiving areas.
The Defender 3000 are simple, yet rugged bench scales that are ideal for general weighing and simple counting applications.
For example, warehouse and shipping-and-receiving departments can use the scales to get quick, accurate weights of boxes before shipping.
For counting, the Defender 3000 scales have several key features: minimum APW equal to the readability of the scale; selectable sample sizes five-10-20-50-100; and last sample size and APW retained in memory.
The Defender 3000 series has four capacity models: 60, 150, 300 and 600lb, with three base sizes.
Ohaus said the Defender 3000 series has an easy-to-use and durable design.
It features a brilliant backlit LCD screen with four tactile mechanical keys that make operating the scale simple.
Defender 3000 bench scales also feature multiple weighing units - lb, oz, lb:oz, kg or g.
The Defender 300 series is powered by an internal rechargeable sealed lead-acid battery with 80 hours of life.
Each Defender 3000 series scale comes equipped with a removable stainless-steel weighing pan and carbon-steel-welded tubular frame.
Non-slip rubber levelling feet with locking nuts and down-stops for overload protection work to make the Defender 3000 scales functional and accurate.
