Tecan has created Tecan Pure, a standard for consumables purity that is tailored towards molecular diagnostics, forensics and genomics research applications.
It is initially available for blister packaged Liquid Handling (LiHa) disposable tips.
Tecan's validated quality assurance processes guarantee that all Tecan Pure products are free from human DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors.
To guarantee consistently high quality, every batch of tips is tested and certified by an external laboratory, and each pack is supplied with a Tecan Certificate of Conformity (CoC).
The updated range of LiHa disposable tips is available in Tecan Pure blister packs or Tecan Standard cardboard packaging, and is supplied in colour-coded racks to offer easy identification of tip volume, minimising the risk of user errors for improved process security.
