Fluidigm Corporation has appointed Quimica Valaner SA de CV as exclusive distributor of its instrumentation and chips in Mexico.
Fluidigm's IFCs, instrumentation and software are used by genetics researchers and scientists performing real-time and digital PCR, genotyping, single-cell gene expression, copy-number variation and absolute quantification, as well as sample prep for next-generation sequencing activities.
Fluidigm's systems utilise integrated fluidic circuits that contain a microscopic matrix of microfluidic channels, valves and chambers on a rubber chip that can perform thousands of experiments at a time, in a fully flexible format that maximises sensitivity, reduces costs and provides reproducibility of results.
