Newmarket Scientific has announced the availability in the UK and Ireland of the Polink-2 Plus range of ultra-sensitive immunohistochemistry detection kits from Golden Bridge International.
Polink-2 Plus is said to be an ultra-sensitive polymer-based detection system for mouse, rabbit, goat and rat that uses conjugation technology and antibody enhancers to improve upon existing two-step polymer systems.
The performance of the Polink-2 Plus system is claimed to be two-to-four times stronger than existing systems without a noticeable increase in background.
Users may need to further dilute the concentration of primary antibodies if switching from conventional three-step detection methods, Newmarket Scientific said.
