19 November 2009 - Varian has announced that Steady State Imaging (SSI) has signed a reseller’s agreement with Varian regarding SSI’s Swift software for Varian’s research MRI systems.
8 October 2009 - Varian has announced its stockholders have adopted the merger agreement entered into with Agilent Technologies, under which Agilent will acquire Varian for USD52 per share in cash. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.
