Metrohm has developed a way of analysing fluoride and nitrate in plating bath solutions that requires a dilution followed by injection into an Intelligent Ion Chromatograph (IC).
This uses a low-volume sample loop that minimises any dilution errors.
Analysis times are usually less than 15min and the MagIC Net controlling software allows the instrument to be run by a plant operator.
Control charts within the software mean that the acid content can easily be profiled over a period of time and should the acid content be outside of a defined tolerance the user is notified through the software.
