Metrohm UK will hold a generic training course for ion chromatography (IC) on 19 November at its headquarters in Daresbury Court, Runcorn, Cheshire.
The day will focus on third-generation Intelligent IC from Metrohm but will also benefit users of older Metrohm systems, as topics will include theory, applications, maintenance and troubleshooting.
The presentations will be given by a member of Metrohm's IC support team.
All delegates will be given training certificates.
The one-day public session will benefit all organisations in which: there has been a loss of IC knowledge within the company; a new starter is using the Metrohm IC; or a cost-effective IC refresher course is required.
If the IC results generated are critical to a company's process, then retraining can make all the difference and empower employees with additional knowledge and confidence.
Topics to be covered during the one-day session include: theory, method optimisation, software, basic maintenance and trouble shooting.
The day will be a mixture of classroom presentations and practical instrument sessions in Metrohm UK's applications laboratory.
The cost for the IC training day is GBP299 per delegate and places are limited.
Refreshments including buffet lunch will be provided.
