DataApex has made enhancements to the latest release of the Clarity chromatography software, version 2.8.
The optional extension for natural gas analysis (NGA) calculations is said to enhance the software's utilisation in the petrochemical industry.
The NGA extension performs the compression factor, mean molecular weight, density, Wobbe index and other calculations using different norms.
DataApex said the Clarity v2.8 is focused on adding more comfort to users.
The Launch Manager utility allows starting Clarity with predefined profiles with different configurations and user preferences.
This will facilitate switching instrument configurations.
The OQ Validation Wizard guides the user through the operational qualification of the Clarity software, which can now validate digital detectors.
Version 2.8 includes control module for GC series 300 from Cambridge Scientific Instruments, developed in co-operation with the GC producer.
The demonstration version of the Clarity software and the complete list of controlled instruments can be downloaded from the DataApex website.
