23 November 2009 - Protea Biosciences will sell Gelcompany's products in North America after the two companies signed a distribution agreement.
Gelcompany's products include high performance electrophoresis (HPE) systems, including horizontal electrophoresis towers and pre-cast gels, fluorescence-based consumables and other electrophoresis products.
3 November 2009 - Gelcompany has been awarded a grant by the central German government under a programme supporting innovations by small and medium size companies.
Gelcompany is using the grant to develop new mini gels.
