SWISSCI Converse Ultrafiltration Devices feature specially designed pressure caps which eliminate the need for centrifugal force.
Although Converse can be used in a centrifuge, the cap means that no electrical power is required, enabling mobile use. Users can view the device working quickly, with enhanced sample recovery and concentration factor. Caps can be used with a standard syringe.
Converse devices also have also been designed with reverse direction of flow combined with large membrane surface, allowing rapid and easy concentration and buffer exchange procedures.
They are available in polyethersulphone (PES) and regenerated cellulose (RC) in Molecular Weight Cut offs: 3, 10, 30 + 100 kDa. The advanced RC membranes being particularly suited to membrane protein applications. Ready to use for volumes range from 0.5 to 20 ml.
