7 September 2010 - LGC has signed a memorandum of understanding with the China Association for Standardisation to collaborate on projects in the area of reference materials/quality control materials.
The agreement also will also cover collaboration on the distribution of food safety testing services in China. The LGC-China Association for Standardisation collaboration will initially focus on distribution opportunities for industrial reference materials made in China for European and other international markets and for a specific range of European reference materials for the Chinese market.
In addition, both parties will work together on initiating food safety testing services in China.
6 April 2010 - LGC has launched its LGC Genomics division, as part of a wider organisational restructuring. As part of the restructuring process, the company's Agowa genomics products and services will be rebranded LGC Genomics.
17 November 2009 - LGC Forensics has appointed Alison Threlfall as a facial-comparison analysis expert for its digital and document forensic services.
