The Institute of Clinical Research (ICR) has announced that delegate passes are available for its 2010 Annual Spring Conference and Exhibition.
The event will place greater focus on the programme and conference sessions and will incorporate a smaller exhibition area, providing delegates with access to a more targeted range of exhibitors.
The two-day event, entitled Science, Society and Economics: Shaping the future of clinical research, will take place at the Hilton London Metropole on April 19-20 and will feature speaker sessions across four themes covering Science, Society, Economics and Operations.
Closing the conference on day one will be Prof Richard Lilford of the clinical epidemiology department at the University of Birmingham and Prof Karl Claxton of the Department of Economics at the University of York.
They will be discussing Health Economics, including the processes and ethics involved.
Other confirmed speakers include Emma Butlin, a GCP inspector for the MHRA, and Dr Mark Lewis, a health-management and clinical-research consultant, who will be looking at translating R+D strategy.
The programme will include sessions covering topics such as medical devices, patient recruitment and paediatric regulations.
