Orb Optronix will be demonstrating its LED characterisation products during the Strategies In Light trade show at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara on 10-12 February, 2010.
Orb will be presenting in tandem with Labsphere for its ETO (Electrical-Thermal-Optical) LED characterisation system.
Rand Lee, Orb Optronix co-founder, and Rob Leonard, sales and marketing director, will be giving live demonstrations of the company's products.
They will be exhibiting real-time characterisation of LEDs using their 20in high-power liquid-cooled system for ETO LED characterisation.
The company's ETO LED characterisation systems have both automated data acquisition and a range of data-analysis features.
ETO Systems allow engineers to automatically sequence measurements of light output and spectrum over a range of temperatures and currents, while comprehensive data-analysis features allow users to quickly and easily view different groupings of data in over 300 graphs using Orb's software running on Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
The company will also be displaying the Omnidrive eight-channel LED power supply, previously marketed as Lifedrive.
The Omnidrive is designed for LED pulse-width modulated prototyping and research and development applications.
Each Omnidrive has eight separate current-output channels.
Each output channel can be independently assigned a current amplitude via computer-controlled software.
Four internal pulse generators can be programmed to control frequency, duty cycle and phase.
Each output channel may be configured to use one of the four internal pulse generators or one of two external waveforms.
