Panalytical is currently showcasing x-ray fluorescence (XRF) and x-ray diffraction (XRD) technologies at the Pittcon 2010 conference and expo, which runs until 4 March in Florida, US.
With the launch of a number of platforms, products and solutions across all areas of its business, the company claims that it focuses on the need for future scalability in all of its instruments, while delivering added value and cost effectiveness.
At Pittcon 2010, Panalytical is launching Empyrean, an XRD platform handling four sample types: powders, thin films, nanomaterials and solid objects.
It is a multi-purpose XRD system with a newly developed x-ray source goniometer, new sample stages and cradles, easy-access radiation housing and a 3D detection system on a diffraction platform, the PIXcel3D detector.
The company is also introducing AxiosmAX, an enhancement of its Axios range of XRF spectrometers, through the incorporation of the SST-Max x-ray tube, featuring the proprietary Zeta Technology for like-new performance over the life of the x-ray tube.
Also being exhibited at the show is the Axios 1kW, a low-power, high-performance WDXRF system that offers an economical, no-chiller-required system.
Cubix3, the third-generation x-ray powder diffraction (XRPD) range for high-throughput industrial quality and process control, is being unveiled at Pittcon 2010, along with Eagon 2, a fully automatic benchtop dual fused bead preparation system.
Finally, Omnian for Minipal brings advanced standardless analysis to the benchtop.
