Available in two sizes, the triple gas incubators from IKS are said to offer a high-quality culturing environment with excellent temperature accuracy and CO2 stability.
The larger incubator (IVS-9160GC) with 173l chamber and eight divided inner doors is said to deliver a good price-performance ratio, while the small 33l model (IVS-9000GC) with six divided inner doors is suitable for use with lowered oxygen concentrations.
Both of these triple gas incubators provide a condensation-free chamber with rounded corners for easy cleaning and the interior is fully autoclavable.
Very fast recovery times for temperature, CO2 and O2 ensure a highly stable environment for embryo growth and an internal HEPA filter prevents contamination.
Other features include a dual-beam (non-dispersive) infrared CO2 sensor and an access port allowing connection to an external Xiltrix sensor.
Han Weerdesteyn, product manager, said: 'Many IVF laboratories have moved to using lowered O2 concentrations to improve the viability of the growing embryos.
'IKS triple gas (CO2/O2) incubators fit very well with the needs of these laboratories, being able to control both the CO2 and O2 level of the incubator.
He added: 'These very stable and affordable, condensation-free incubators provide the best possible environment for growing embryos.'
