Analytica China, which is set to be held at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center on 15-17 September 2010, has announced some of the highlights in its programme of events.
The topics covered by the event will include quality control (QC) in the food industry, and biotechnology.
The event will also feature an exhibition featuring companies such as Mettler Toledo and Horiba, workshops on food analysis and tutorials on the life sciences.
Analytica China's programme of conference events will include a presentation by Dr Marianna Lucio (GSF Helmholtz Zentrum Munchen) titled 'Metabolomic Study on Possible Biomarkers of Crohn's Disease'.
There will also be two tutorials at this year's fair: Prof Karl Siegfied Boos (LMU Medical University Munich/Germany) and Dr Rosa Morello (Medical Center of the University of Munich) will inform visitors about 'Sample Preparation for LC-MS/MS Analysis of Small Molecules in Biofluids'; and Adj Prof Philippe Schmitt-Kopplin (Helmholtz Zentrum Munchen) will give a presentation entitled 'Metabolomic Approach for Biotechnology and Life Science'.
There will be two workshops on the topic of food analysis.
Dr Ludwig Huber (Labcompliance/Germany) will inform participants about 'FDA/EU Compliance for Quality Control Laboratories', while Dr Georg Herbertz (Haus der Milch) will talk about 'Construction and Operation of a Laboratory for Milk and Dairy Product Analysis'.
