Fischer Instrumentation took part in the Camtec II symposium on fine scale mechanical characterisation and behaviour on 29-30 March 2010 at Downing College in Cambridge.
Dr Hans-Peter Vollmar and Gottfried Bosch from the Helmut Fischer Group presented a poster on the Enhanced Stiffness Procedure (ESP) applied on soft or hard um coatings.
Fischer Instrumentation, the UK subsidiary, participated in the industrial exhibition of eight manufacturers for micro hardness instrumentation.
The company exhibited the Fischerscope XM2000, a computer-controlled measuring system for micro hardness testing and the determination of material parameters according to ISO 14577.
Applications include paint, synthetic or hard material coatings (PVD, CVD), electroplated coatings (decorative, functional), materials used specifically in medical technology applications and electronic components and bond wires.
