Alfa Medical Equipment has been appointed as the North American master distributor for Astell's range of laboratory autoclaves and sterilisers.
The company will provide the servicing of Astell products and will stock a full complement of spares.
UK-based Astell's products range from 30-litre bench-top models to 2,000-litre freestanding square-section units.
All of its units, including the new Duaclave two-chamber autoclave, are manufactured from stainless steel with pressure vessels designed to ASME standards.
Astell sterilisers are available with a variety of options, including a Swiftlock safety door interlock mechanism, a Holdwarm capability, jacket or deluge cooling and load-sensed process timing.
The sterilisers are equipped with Astell's icon-driven, full-colour, touch-screen controller with continuous data archiving, password protection and multiple access levels.
