Quantachrome Instruments will be exhibiting at the Carbon 2010 conference in Clemson, South Carolina, from 11-16 July.
This year's conference theme, 'From Nano to Macro', reflects the advances in nano-carbons and the resurgence in interest in bulk carbon materials.
Quantachrome will promote its latest products and support services during the exhibition, including the recently introduced Autosorb-IQ gas-sorption analyser, which is capable of analysing two samples for detailed micropore size distribution simultaneously.
Dr Matthias Thommes, Quantachrome's director of applied science, will present a paper entitled, 'Advanced Physical Adsorption Characterisation of Nanoporous Carbons: Assessing Surface (Chemistry) Properties and Pore Structure by a Combination of Water, Argon/Nitrogen and Carbon Dioxide Adsorption', which reflects work performed in a collaboration between Quantachrome Instruments and the Universite de Lyon-CNRS, Ircelyon, France.
