Armstrong Optical has unveiled handheld thermography cameras that are designed to provide a solution to all thermal measurement requirements and are ideal for use in various maintenance environments.
The EasIR range of cameras is said to be simple to understand and operate and has been designed for both entry-level and expert users.
These systems generate fully radiometric jpeg images containing full temperature information that can be stored on an internal SD card and/or transmitted via USB2.0 to a PC for subsequent analysis using the provided Iranalyser software suite.
The EasIR cameras offer autofocus at the push of a button and IR-fusion imagery, where the thermal image is overlaid onto the visible image to allow for even clearer imagery.
Operating at a frame rate of 50Hz with a 160 x 120 pixel sensor, all the systems in the EasIR range offer a thermal resolution of less than 0.1C and an accuracy of +/-2C or +/-2 per cent over a temperature range of -20C to +250C, the range being extended with the EasIR-4 up to +350C as an option.
Other options include snap-on, radiometrically calibrated, wide-angle or telephoto lenses.
Also available as standard with the EasIR-4 system is the ability to fully record radiometric video, either on the internal SD card or on a PC via the USB2.0 interface.
All EasIR cameras are drop-tested from 3m to ensure continued operation in tough workplaces.
