Ictasys has launched the Incidentlogger, a scalable incident logging and reporting software solution designed specifically with pathology laboratories in mind.
Incidentlogger negates the need for paper incident recording forms and features a web-based front-end, allowing organisations to correlate their data across many different laboratories and hospital sites.
With this organised, structured system for incident reporting harmonised across every department in a pathology group, it is more likely that staff members will actually contribute, according to the company.
Iain Taylor, Ictasys product specialist, said: 'While many NHS trusts have electronic incident reporting packages in place, most laboratories are still using paper-based systems for their internal incidents.
