Avid Nano has introduced the W130i dynamic light scattering (DLS) system for use in protein crystallography, purification, bio-molecular and nano-particle characterisation applications.
The DLS technique can produce fast, accurate measurements of the molecular size, aggregation state, size distribution and estimated molecular weight of sub-micron particles and molecules.
The new W130i from Avid Nano uses disposable, 5uL Bladecell cuvettes.
With the patent-pending Bladecell, the user simply pipettes his or her sample directly into its 'liquid trap' and places the cuvette into the W130i for analysis.
Every sample is fully recoverable and excellent performance at low concentrations is ensured, according to the company.
