Crawford Scientific is offering a method development service using HPLC columns to improve UK customers' existing separations.
The company will enhance customers' separations by whatever criteria they are seeking to obtain improvements.
This could be resolution, alternate selectivity, speed of analysis or reduced solvent consumption.
Tony Taylor, Crawford's technical director, said: 'We have found that new technologies such as sub-2um particles, superficially porous silica and Hilic phases can cause technology or knowledge barriers within organisations to seeing what actual improvements and benefits can be realised by implementing these columns.
'We are therefore issuing a challenge to customers to submit their existing HPLC method and Crawfords will visit the site with a translated method followed by a live demo using a 25 per cent discount column from our current list,' he added.
Columns on the 25 per cent discount list include Silec Obelisc and Primesep mixed-mode (Hilic) phases, the Agilent Poroshell 120 superficially porous silica column range and the Agilent Zorbax sub-2um RRHD range.
