Wisbiomed has launched a digital inverted microscope designed for live cell fluorescent imaging inside CO2 incubators or tissue culture hoods.
The compact microscope has bright field and fluorescent image capture or a video recording feature.
Users can place the digital microscope inside a regular CO2 tissue culture incubator or tissue culture hood.
Its easy-to-clean surface makes it simple to sterilise, according to Wisbiomed.
Once the user loads the flask or dish on the stage, he or she can view the cell images live on a 7in LCD screen.
Users can switch from white light to GFP or another fluorescent light at the touch of a button on the screen.
Users can capture images or videos to an SD card, or superimpose images with an on-screen touch button.
The power cord can run safely through the incubator door gasket if there is no inside wall-power socket.
There is no need for dark rooms or to carry cells from the tissue culture room to the fluorescent microscope room.
For time-resolved studies, users can set up the image time and interval and the digital scope will do the rest.
