Huber has added the Microprocessor Controller (MPC) for applications including samples, preparation, analysis and materials testing to its range of laboratory temperature-control machines.
The MPC has been purposely designed with basic functions and can be purchased alone, as an immersion bath or re-circulation temperature control machine.
All models use natural refrigerants, are environmentally friendly and save energy, according to Huber.
The MPC models are also suitable for external temperature control of measuring equipment or experiments.
The MPC models reach a stability of +/- 0.05C and are fitted with over-temperature and low-level protection, meeting safety class III/FL (DIN 12876), and are therefore suitable for use with flammable liquids.
The circulation pump has a performance of 201/min; 0.2 bar (pressure) and 171/min; 0.18 bar (suction).
Models are available with polycarbonate baths (up to 100C) or insulated steel baths (up to 200C).
The bath volumes are from two to 25 litres.
Refrigerated baths fitted with the MPC controllers generate up to 350W of cooling power, depending on the model, and cover a temperature range of -30C to +200C.
The heating power is 2.0kW for all models.
Advanced models in the MPC range feature an RS232 interface and an external PT100 connection.
