4titude has launched the 4S2 semi-automatic thermal sealer, which is compatible with a wide range of seals and plates of differing designs and heights.
The 4S2 semi-automatic thermal sealer has variable temperature and time settings, ensuring sealing conditions are easily optimised to produce a 100 per cent seal, eliminating sample loss.
It employs a cost-saving adapter system, meaning the maximum number of adapters required is two.
After the rapid heating element achieves the set temperature, the plate and seal are placed on the adapter, the drawer pushed closed, and the sealing process starts automatically, eliminating operator variation.
To save energy, the 4S2 also has a standby mode, which reduces the temperature to 60C, and will switch itself off when the sealer is left idle for longer periods of time.
The time for both of these functions can be adjusted to suit the user's needs.
