Metrohm has launched the 852 Karl Fischer Titrando, which offers dual moisture determination covering trace to percentage.
Historically, when a customer wishes to determine moisture from trace ppm levels to percentage moisture, Metrohm has had to recommend the purchase of two different kinds of Karl Fischer instrument.
The KF Coulometer is best suited to a range of 0.1 per cent to 1ppm, while the volumetric Karl Fischer is best suited to 0.1 per cent and above.
The 852 is a single instrument with these two methods combined, with the capacity to run them at the same time.
Metrohm said this means issues with space, maintenance and service, cost and time are solved.
Control is said to be easy using either the 900 touch control or the Tiamo 2.2 software.
