Metrohm has described how its Titrando range can perform a range of applications and determinations using dual titration methods for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
The 905, 906 and 907 models can be used to perform dual and/or parallel titrations.
This means one titrator with two stirring stations performing independent titrations at the same time.
Metrohm said this concept saves time and space as only one titrator is being used.
The Titrando dual-titration concept has been used by the food industry with acidity and salt performed simultaneously, FFAs and peroxide values performed together; the plating industry with Cr III and Al content performed simultaneously; and the pharmaceutical with aqueous and non-aqueous acid base determinations.
The Tiamo 2.2 software is used for control.
