Sure Laboratories is offering dedicated microarray-based comparative genomic hybridisation (arrayCGH) screening for detection of copy number imbalance and aneuploidy.
Established in early 2010 by Bluegnome - a developer of microarray solutions for human cytogenetic investigations - the laboratory provides clinical arrayCGH screening services.
Independent fertility specialist Care Fertility Group uses the Sure Laboratories pre-implantation genetic screening (PGS) service, which utilises 24sure technology.
'The 24sure technology ensures rapid sample analysis, which enhances implantation rates while minimising the risk of multiple pregnancies for our patients,' said Dr Simon Fishel, managing director at Care Fertility.
Sure Laboratories has been designed to provide a broad range of cytogenetic tests, with purpose-built facilities and the latest workflows to ensure rapid turnaround of results and high standards, for both UK and international clients.
The company uses Bluegnome's Cytochip technology and industry-standard Bluefuse Multi software.
It also offers a library of more than 26,000 fluorescent in situ hybridisation (Fish) probes for crucial follow-up investigations.
