Agilent Technologies has launched the Agilent JandW DB-35ms Ultra Inert gas chromatography (GC) column that addresses the needs of drugs-of-abuse testing and pesticide analysis.
The JandW DB-35ms Ultra Inert GC column joins the existing apolar columns in the family: the DB/HP-1ms and DB/HP-5ms.
With the new column, Agilent said ultra-inert performance is available where mid-polar selectivity is needed for enhanced separations.
Chemists can quantify components at a lower level, have broader linearity and optimise their separation by choosing the right selectivity to increase productivity.
Agilent Technologies said that its overall JandW Ultra Inert product family offers consistent column inertness with low column bleed, resulting in lower detection limits and more accurate data.
Each column is tested with a demanding test probe mixture and a performance summary sheet is shipped in each box.
