The 872 extension module from Metrohm is said to enable virtually unlimited flexibility for any kind of automated liquid-handling operation.
This flexibility is achieved by combining the 872 module with Magic Net software and Dosino technology.
The module comprises an additional dual-channel peristaltic pump for transferring any type of liquid in the low-pressure range, a six-port injection valve that can be used both in the high-pressure and low-pressure range, as well as a 10-port selector valve.
These features are said to translate into the fully automated performance of pH adjustments, pre-column derivatisations or the mixing of solutions.
