Asylum Research has delivered the Cypher atomic force microscope (AFM) to the Instituto Microelectronica in Madrid, Spain, for high-resolution imaging and detection of biomolecules and processes.
The Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas (CSIC) will also use the Cypher AFM system in fundamental studies of nano-mechanical systems in liquids.
One feature that drew the researchers' attention was the ability of the Cypher AFM to perform sophisticated dynamic AFM experiments with small cantilevers at high imaging speeds.
