Aptifirst's CT2040 digital thermometer has a rugged IP67 casing, a resolution of 0.1C and can be switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit measurements.
Calibration is done via the front keypad and its resistant features, together with the supplied shock-resistant holster, makes it suitable for measuring the temperature of fresh cement and concrete.
Its display features indications for over-range and low battery while a user-configurable auto switch-off capability means battery life is preserved.
The device has a penetration probe of 115 x 3mm and a coiled lead and jack measuring 2m in length.
Ambient operating range is -30 to +50C and 0 to 70 per cent relative humidity, with a storage temperature range of -40 to +50C.
It comes complete with a calibration certificate traceable to UKAS NAMAS Standards, which are equivalent to NIST.
