Quantachrome has launched the Porometer 3G series, a range of capillary flow porometers designed to measure the through-pore size distribution in sheet-like materials, such as filters and membranes.
The company's 3G series is said to be compact, rapid and customisable, with intelligent algorithms and Windows-based data acquisition and reporting software.
The porometers are said to complement Quantachrome's existing Poremaster series of mercury intrusion porosimeters.
With 'breakthrough' pressure sensed directly at the sample, measured using precision sensors independent of the pressure controllers, the analyser range offers increased data point density and good instrument-to-instrument reproducibility.
