Other diagnostic kits include one for the determination of an individual's susceptibility or resistance to oral anticoagulants, as well as predisposition to niche and infectious diseases.
Its product range includes a wide range of convenient enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs) offering value for money to small or medium-sized laboratories.
Particular focuses of Astra Biotech's ELISAs are the fertility range, along with pre- and neonatal test kits.
Offering improved hybridisation, the 'microarray-on-a-chip' soon to be released will determine predisposition to a variety of conditions starting with a niche disease.
As part of their expansion program Astra Biotech are now looking to strengthen their distribution channels in the Middle East Region and will be attending Arab Health in Dubai from the 24-27 January 2011 to meet potential partners.
