BCR-ABL Mbcr IS-MMR kits are based on real-time quantitative PCR (RQ-PCR) technology and contain an IS-MMR Calibrator (RNA).
This RNA, directly calibrated against the first WHO primary reference material, allows conversion of BCR-ABL results to the International Scale and major molecular response (MMR) assessment.
In every lab, with every RQ-PCR system, the use of this reference calibrator ensures inter-laboratory testing harmonisation.
