At Science World 2011 Fisher Scientific will launch an Iphone app that allows customers to order scientific equipment with a few easy touches in less than 30 seconds.
The app was launched recently and has already achieved top 50 status in Apple's top free business apps, hailed as 'new and noteworthy' in the Itunes business section.
This technology enables customers to search for and order Fisher Scientific products, use a barcode scanner to speed up the ordering process and stay connected to the latest news and tweets.
The app aims to take customer service to a whole new level for the company and is an unrivalled step forward in innovation within its field.
The official launch for the app will take place on 26 May at Science World 2011, a laboratory event now in its 13th year, to be held at Magna Science Centre in South Yorkshire.
It is free to attend and bookable online.
The app can be downloaded for free through searching for Fisher Scientific in the Apple app store (currently UK only).
