Gram, a supplier of energy-efficient commercial refrigeration equipment, has announced White Horse Scientific as a distributor of its Bioline biostorage range for the NHS market.
White Horse Scientific is a supplier of specialist laboratory equipment that was set up less than three years ago to offer customers an alternative supply route against other larger manufacturers and distributors.
Ian Morris, managing director of White Horse Scientific said: 'Our customers in the NHS requested an alternative to their current suppliers and Gram seemed an obvious choice of manufacturer because of their mix of quality and price range.
'Gram has an established reputation for delivering quality build, high-specification storage solutions at a competitive price and our NHS customers use the Gram Bioline units for a range of different applications, including blood bank refrigeration and freezing,' he added.
Bioline is a comprehensive range of refrigerators and freezers designed to deal with special requirements of the bioscience industry.
The Gram units store biomaterial under consistent, stable conditions and are claimed to provide better performance than many other cabinets in the sector due to the use of a special air-distribution system, instead of cold walls that can damage the contents.
The cabinets use HFC-free foam propellants and are available with CFC-free or HFC-free refrigerants.
All Bioline units comply with the ATEX directive (category 3 zone 2) for safety and use in potentially explosive atmospheres and come with a free five-year parts and labour warranty for added piece of mind for customers.
There are five separate product series in the Gram Bioline range of controlled biostorage products, which cover everything from high-specification storage designed for mission-critical work to general-purpose refrigeration and freezer units.
