Advanced Biomatrix has announced that it offers Purecol, formerly named Vitrogen or Vitrogen-100, a widely used collagen product.
Purecol collagen is a 3mg/ml collagen solution with approximately 97 per cent Type I collagen, with the remainder of the collagen being comprised of Type III collagen.
This product consists of soluble atelo-collagen in 0.01 N HCI with a pH of approximately 2.0.
Purecol collagen is suitable for the coating of surfaces, providing preparation of thin layers for culturing cells, or use as a solid gel.
The product is provided in a 100ml volume and is contained in user-friendly packaging for use and storage.
Purecol is sterile filtered and is supplied as a ready-to-use solution.
