Malvern Instruments has revealed that its Zetasizer Nano particle characterisation system is being used by researchers at the Birck Nanotechnology Center within Purdue University's Discovery Park.
The system is said to be suited to the centre's interdisciplinary research environment.
It is housed within the chemical nanotechnology/microfluidics laboratory and is used by skilled operators and novices alike.
The Zetasizer Nano particle characterisation system measures particle size, zeta potential and molecular weight.
It has applications ranging from characterising high-concentration colloids and nanoparticles to the measurement of dilute proteins and macromolecules in their native state.
Malvern Instruments said the system is easy to use.
