An Asian manufacturer of fine wire has used viscometers from Cambridge Viscosity to control the coating on wire that measures 30-300 micron in diameter.
By controlling the coating viscosity in-process, the wire manufacturer is able to control the uniformity of the insulation on the wire, which is used in electric motors, transformers and electric coils in appliances, cars and other powered devices.
