The Viscolab 3000 laboratory viscometer from Cambridge Viscosity incorporates a piston-style electromagnetic sensor and real-time display.
This enables it to provide continuous viscosity, temperature and temperature-compensated viscosity readings.
The Viscolab 3000 - which can be calibrated in the field - is able to display viscosity in either centipoise or centistokes and temperature in degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit.
In addition, measurements can be made in any of 12 20:1 viscosity ranges, according to the company.
Thanks to the instrument's integrated temperature control, user-defined measurements can be made at any setting from slightly above ambient to +356F (+180C) and from ambient to -40C with an optional cooling jacket.
